Today is Sunday so I wanted to share something out of the Bible again today. Maybe you've never read this passage from Ecclesiastes 3, but it is so relevant to simplifying. Especially look at the verse "a time to keep and a time to throw away". Isn't it wonderful that God's word can motivate us when we need it. There is a time for everything.
Maybe you can recognize other areas of your life that you identify with is this passage. All these verses deal with the transient nature of things and of us too. We are only on this earth for a short time and then we are gone.
It's up to us to determine how we will live our lives. We can be generous or selfish. We make so many choices. I want to be happy with the choices I have made. There is nothing as heavy as regret.
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
I hope you all had a lovely weekend. Weekends are really busy for us. Thank you so much
for your comments. They are so sweet to read and I will catch up on responding to them soon!
