I always wanted to dye my hair red and was afraid to do it. I actually did this about 6 weeks ago and it's faded now, but I wanted to post it so maybe it would inspire you to do something you've always wanted to do too.
Isn't it funny how we are scared to do something as silly as dying our hair, or cutting it short? What silly things are you afraid to do, but always wanted to do?
I think one brave decision leads to more. What will my red hair lead to now? Have courage and make a brave turn of your own today! Sign up for a class, start a blog, wear your red lipstick, call an old friend or throw a dinner party. What will you do?

Your hair is over the top gorgeous! I love a bob and this one is so chic, but the color makes it even more fabulous. Your post is very thought provoking. I wonder what i will do???
Thank you Stehanie! You're a sweetie! I have no doubt you'll do something fab!
I have no plans to do anything big - starting a blog is enough for now!
But I was curious about how you might be handling the way makeup and clothes (color) looks now that your hair is red. Are there come colors that look better than before? Some not so much?
When I went from blonde to brunette, I noticed I had to change things up.
I agree with Stephanie..it's a gorgeous cut and color.
I love it. It looks amazing!!! You are a gorgeous redhead. And I think your advice is great. One bold move can change everything. Enjoy your beautiful hair!

Adrienne-I wear a lot of coral and orange so I had to lay off of those colors until it faded some. I also wear a lot of green so I wore that a lot during the bright weeks. Thanks for the compliment. :)
Belette-I really love having red hair! If I do it again, I will get it a lighter red. This is a semi-permanent so she had to go darker than my natural color. I like yours! Uh-oh, single, white female!
J, your hair is gorgeous and so are you! Lovely, lovely photos. And check out those cheekbones! The photo of you and your husband is beautiful as well.
I've done a couple of big things (for me) lately, joined a yoga class, told the whole world what I weigh (on my blog, because of course the whole world is reading)...
Your hair is gorgeous; it's a wonderful shade and really suits you.
Me, I need to shake up my career and paint my bedroom, not necessarily in that order!
oh my gosh, what a gorgeous cut and color. you are so beautiful and adorable all at once. i love it!

Fiona-Thank you for your sweet comment. You told the world what you weighed! I missed that!
Struggler-:) Thanks! Now I'm thinking I need to get it dyed red again! Shake up your career, that sounds exciting! I'll be looking forward to the details of your painting on your blog.
Janet-You give the best compliments! Thanks so much!
I've arrived via Stephanie's blog. You look lovely with red hair, and it sounds as if it fits your personality too. For years and years I wanted to cut my hair very short, but was afraid (in part because of terrible short cuts as a child). Three years ago I did it -- and I love it--it suits my face and I've found it suits me too. I'm so pleased I found your blog! Katherine Louise
Katherine Louise-I'm so glad you came over from Stephanie's blog! Thanks for the kind compliment. :) I'm debating whether to keep it red or go another direction, but you are right that I think the red suits my personality!
Your hair is hot! Really...I love it!
So funny, I always wanted to go blond when turning 30....but never did it.
I went from hair down to my waist in my teens to hair down to mid-back in my twenties and part thirties. I had babies by 33 and cut drastically. I have gone back to shoulder length a few times since then. I am really short now, but still desire that long hair look. It would take me a week to make it look good though! Your hair looks hot! You make a woman want to cut her hair!
